How long have you worked for CDM?

I have worked at CDM for 2 years

Tell us about a typical working day in your role at CDM:

A typical day involves searching for candidates on job boards/our database, finding out the candidates availability and filling any outstanding job vacancies.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

No two days are ever the same so you can never second guess what tomorrow will bring!

Tell us about your proudest moment so far at CDM?

Receiving the ‘Resourcer of the Quarter’ award was definitely a proud moment; it was a reminder that your hard work never goes unnoticed.

How would you describe working here to anyone who is considering a career with CDM?

Working at CDM has made me realise that every day is different and things are constantly changing from one day to the next. No matter what challenges you are faced with you are surrounded by the most supportive and understanding colleagues I have ever known! You always feel a sense of importance to the rest of the team and the whole company has a real family feel to it which makes it stand out from any other company!

Having come from an admin based background into a resourcing role I found it very daunting as I was so nervous that I wouldn’t be successful, however the training and support given to me has been amazing and working within the best Trades team in the North East has definitely helped! I would recommend CDM to anyone!

What interests do you have outside of work?  I have just started Skinny Pigs fitness class which I go to 2-3 times a week, socialising with friends and family and spending money – I’ve recently moved into my own home and am obsessed with all things interior!

What was the last album you bought? The Weekend – Starboy

What is your favourite film? Kevin and Perry Go Large – it’s so awful I can’t help but love it!

Name your favourite restaurant:  Mambos in South Shields

Who’s the most famous person you have met?   Peter Beardsley when I was at school!

Describe your perfect weekend. My perfect weekend would be getting in from work on Friday, putting my pj’s on, ordering a take away and having a glass of prosecco with my feet up. Saturday would start by getting up early and heading to the Lakes with my other half and our little one for the weekend, spending the days exploring and finishing with some lovely food!
