One of the countrys leading Facilities Management companies are now looking to recruit and experienced Catering Services Manager, to join their team in the Bristol area.
The Catering Services Manager will lead and manage all catering arrangements across the Bristol Project, student and staff dining, hospitality and commercial operations. To ensure school catering conforms to current school food standards and is of consistently high quality. The Catering Services Manager will play a key role in assisting with the smooth delivery of all aspects of the catering services and budget management.
Direct management of Catering service staff including day to day operations, appraisal, training and discipline
To achieve set financial targets and work with Kitchen Managers to maintain target achievement
Plan and implement new menus to conform to current school food standards and in accordance with company policies using local suppliers and produce where possible and continuing to maintain Food for Life award
Provide line management and support of Kitchen Managers and teams
Have an understanding of Health and Safety and COSHH within the Catering service
Client liaison – interface with the School Business Managers and building users through formal and informal communications, including regular meetings.
