Our client is a leading product development business who specialise in components for the automotive, oil, gas and petrochemical industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to identify an experienced Validation Engineer to join their operation in County Durham on a permanent, full time basis.
The Validation Engineer will coordinate and support validation projects and processes, ensuring that all equipment, manufacturing processes, computer and analytical methods are fully validated to meet operational requirements. As well as being responsible for producing full life-cycle validation documents for new equipment and processes, the appointed individual will contribute to the development of the master validation plan, support production and R&D operations in the identification of process validation/improvements for new product development and coordinate with the relevant departments in the execution of validation projects and ensure full compliance with all customer and international standards.
In order to secure this role, candidates will need to demonstrate considerable experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment as well as formal qualifications either in a relevant engineering or technical discipline. A working knowledge of GMP and the regulatory requirements for validation within the automotive industry is essential, as is knowledge of health and safety and hazardous materials regulations and an ability to demonstrate an understanding and have hands-on experience of generating and reviewing validation lifecycle documents.
