Job Title: Payroll and Accounts Manager

How long have you worked for CDM?

5 Years 5 months

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Being able to provide support and advice to all the teams within CDM, ranging from compliance/legislation changes to other day to day tasks like spreadsheet issues!

What interests do you have outside of work?

For the past 20 years I have been playing in brass bands. I’m currently a member of Easington Colliery Brass Band, touring the length and breadth of the country performing in concerts and competitions.

What was the last album you bought?

Aerosmith “Big Ones”

What is your favourite film?

It’s a tough one, but can narrow it down to The Green Mile and Step Brothers

Describe your perfect weekend.

Doing anything as long as it involves spending quality time with the family and Candy my Plumber Terrier

Robin Williams, Jason Statham, Tommy Cooper, Audrey Hepburn

Do you have any guilty pleasures?

Johnny Depp, but only when he is in Jack Sparrow attire!

Who’s the most famous person you have met?

Spotted Kevin Costner having lunch at the Sherlock Holmes Pub in Westminster and he kindly posed to have his photo taken!

Tell us a fascinating fact about yourself.

Performed with the band at the quarter final auditions of Britain’s Got Talent in front of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holding and Piers Morgan!

What do you enjoy most about working for CDM?

I enjoy the variety of my role, but more importantly that CDM is a very supportive environment which actively encourages all employees to progress to reach their full potential.
