Tour of the Northern Spire Bridge.

Several of CDM’s Civil Engineering recruitment team recently attended a visit to the Northern Spire in Sunderland which is being overseen by Farrans Construction and Victor Buyck Steel Construction.

Organised by the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) this was a tour of one of the most exciting civil engineering projects the region has seen in recent times. Having the opportunity to appreciate the complexity of such an iconic civil engineering project enabled us to capture some amazing images of the work in progress which we felt we just had to share….. 

After agreeing a 3 year sponsorship deal with the ICE NE we have since developed a strong, professional relationship. We look forward to getting involved with more of the interesting events which the ICE have planned throughout 2018 as they celebrate 200 years as an institute.
