£28,000pa-£35,000pa

The company is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of civil engineering projects and it provides a full range of small tools and mini construction plant.
This includes; saws, rammers, vibrating plates, small excavators’ vans and trailers.

As a result of further growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for a plant fitter to join the team and cover the Central Belt area.
As a field-based plant fitter, you will be based from home and attend customer site breakdowns.

Your main duties will include;
• Attending customer site breakdowns
• Performing fault diagnostics on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• 2 and 4 stroke engine diagnostics
• Welding repairs to buckets and attachments
• Preventative planned maintenance

The successful plant fitter will have previous experience in any of the following areas; construction plant, small tools, forklift trucks, agricultural machinery, HGV’s, municipal vehicles or military plant or vehicles.
