Job Description

We are working with our client based in Gateshead who specialise in sub-contract precision engineering, predominantly in the Oil & Gas industry. We are assisting the client in the search for a CNC Turner on a full time, permanent basis.
You will be responsible for writing the programmes for, setting and operating CNC turning lathes as well using manual lathes.

Responsibilities
• Developing CNC programs using Alphacam software
• Programming, setting and operating a Harrison Alpha combination lathe using FANUC
• Reading engineering drawings and changing tools
• Utilising manual lathes

Person Specification
• An experienced CNC Turner with relevant FANUC experience
• Experience working with Alphacam software
• Experience working with manual lathes and 4-Jaw chuck
• The willingness to learn with a strong work ethic
