We are now looking to recruit people with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, to work on the testing of high value, bespoke heavy engineering equipment.
This company are a multi-billion global leader in their industry with a worldwide work force measuring tens of thousands of people and in recent years they have invested tens of millions of pounds into their Newcastle facility.
The business can be considered one of the biggest success stories in the region’s modern history and this is reflected by the fact, Newcastle is the company’s global headquarters for this part of the business.
You will be from an engineering background and be self-motivated with a strong mind-set towards health & safety working practices and achieving very high standards of quality in your work.
This company’s environment is not driven by speed, but ensuring that the job is done correctly and to exacting standards, all within a heavy engineering environment.
We have successfully recruited many people from the armed forces into this business, who have worked as aircraft engineers, royal navy engineers, as well as people working offshore in the oil & gas sector.
This is a long term and stable agency role with the expectation you will have a minimum of 3 years constant work and you will NOT be on zero-hour contract with a basic salary of £34,286.
•£34,616 basic salary
•Lunch breaks are paid
•36 days holidays including stats
•Any unused holidays, you are paid the money for them instead, at the end of the year
•Ample opportunities for overtime each week, paid at £23.78ph/ £31.70ph & £47.55ph (bank holidays).
