Job Description

CDM Recruitment are looking to recruit Data Engineers to work across the North East and nationally throughout the UK.

This role requires an experienced engineer who is flexible to work at home or away and be available to work out of hours.

Data Engineer Responsibilities (experience essential)
Installing/terminating and testing the below:
i. Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Cat 7
ii. 10,20,50,100 pair telephone cable int/ext
iii. Multi-mode and Single-Mode fibre install term and test
iv. IP CCTV install and set up
Installation of containment plastic and metal
Fault finding and problem solving of all the above disciplines
Route planning, organising labour, ordering materials to adhere to tight schedules and on budget to maintain job continuity
Be able to provide regular progress reports/ updates with PM( project manager)and client
Customer service before and after care skills.

City & Guilds or NVQ in Data/Fibre
CSCS/ECS card
IPAF
PASMA
Asbestos Awareness
