The client is a global designer and manufacturer of heavy plant equipment and it is a household name.
As a result of an internal promotion a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a depot manager to join the team.
As depot manager your main objective will be to provide leadership and guidance that ensures effective operational and commercial performance of the depot in all areas of aftermarket activity.
Your main duties will include:
Providing leadership and strategic guidance to ensure maximum operational efficiencies are achieved
Being accountable for the depots P&L and performance against forecast
Coaching direct reports in delivering the highest levels of customer service
Promoting the company and gaining market intelligence
Ensuring adherence to processes, procedures and policies associated with financial, operational, customer service and people management
Managing key customer accounts
Generating and monitoring targets to impact profitability
Managing depot costs
Recruitment and staff training
Health & Safety
The successful depot manager will have previous experience in a similar role and will have a thorough understanding of the heavy plant sector. Applicants with an ILM qualification will be at a distinct advantage.
