Does size matter? Want to work with big equipment? If you like heavy engineering and large equipment then youll be in your element in this role. And youll be well paid for it too!
Youll be working in a heavy engineering industrial environment looking after everything electrical on the plant from industrial lighting to Siemens controlled PLC equipment. Some of the CNC lathes will be older than you and capable of machining parts heavier than a bus. Its a big plant with big equipment!
You will have a fitter working alongside you, so its just your electrical experience thats important. One man one job! After training youll end up on their 4 shift continental pattern which pays 41k plus weekly production bonuses that adds another 4k. Get some overtime in and you will earn 50k plus.
You probably havent worked on machinery to this scale before which is why the training is so important. After a week or so on dayshift you will buddy with another technician on 3 shifts before taking your place as the Electrical Maintenance Technician on the continental shift pattern.

An Electrical maintenance apprenticeship
Experience in heavy engineering and CNC machinery
