Job Description

I am currently recruiting Electrical Test and Commissioning operatives on a temporary to permanent basis for our award-winning renewable technology client. They are continuing to expand and looking to develop their in-house Commissioning and Service arm of the business.

In this role, you will cover the local and national area, carrying out the test, inspection and commissioning the installed solar PV systems on commercial and industrial properties.

Essential
• Electrical Qualifications – Experienced Improver/Mate considered.
• EICRs, Test & Inspection qualifications- 2391 etc
• Be prepared to work nationwide, within commutable distance of the Newcastle area

Desirable
• Experience with Solar PV Installations
• Experience of Energy Storage Installations
• Experience of EV Charging Point Installations

Hours: 40-42 per week.

Pay: £25-30 per hour CIS for temp position depending on experience. Perm rates TBC

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrician or improver/mate and have experience in the test and inspection of installed electrical services.

Knowledge of PV systems would be advantageous, but training on renewable technologies is available. Candidates who have experience with electrical vehicle charging points are encouraged to apply.
