Job Description

FLT Driver – Counterbalance & Reach

Location: Peterlee
Pay Rate: £16.66 per hour
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Beginning of November
Duration: Approximately 3 months

We are currently looking for an experienced FLT Driver to join our team in Peterlee, starting at the beginning of November, on a temporary assignment of approximately 3 months.

Essential Requirements
The successful candidate must hold valid FLT certificates for:

-Counterbalance FLT – up to 5 tonnes

-Reach FLT – up to 2 tonnes

Candidates must have the appropriate certification to operate FLTs at these capacities.

The Role
-Operating counterbalance FLTs up to 5 tonnes

-Operating reach FLTs up to 2 tonnes

-Loading, unloading and moving materials safely around the site

-Following all health & safety procedures and site requirements

-Supporting the wider warehouse/operations team as required

The Ideal Candidate
-Holds valid certificates for both Counterbalance up to 5 tonnes and Reach up to 2 tonnes

-Has proven experience operating both types of FLT

-Is reliable, punctual and safety-conscious

-Has good communication and teamwork skills

-Can commit to the full assignment
