£35,000pa-£38,000pa + overtime + benefits

Working in the exciting and dynamic environment of the aviation sector, your skills will play a very important part in keeping passengers and freight moving.
The company is one of the worlds largest suppliers of commercial vehicles and specialist plant to airports and currently holds the most prestigious accounts in the UK aviation sector.
As the aviation sector continues to bounce back post Covid, a number of fantastic opportunities have arisen for ground support equipment mechanics to join the team at Heathrow.

Working at the UK’s largest and busiest airport, no two days will be the same.

Your main responsibilities will include:
•Conducting fault diagnostics on a variety of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic plant and vehicle systems.
•Service and repair of airport commercial vehicles, tug tractors, telehandlers, mobile stairs, trailers and baggage handling equipment.
•Performing reactive and proactive maintenance.
•Customer service.

Due to the first-class product training on offer, the successful ground support equipment mechanic can come from a range of engineering backgrounds to include; forklift trucks, construction plant, HGV’s, municipal vehicles, agricultural machinery or specialist military vehicles or plant.

The role involves working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and is days only. This equates to 220 days annual leave.
