£30,000pa-£32,000pa + overtime + call out + benefits

The company is one of the world’s largest suppliers of specialist ground support equipment to airports and is a genuine market leader in its field.

As the aviation sector continues to pick up a number of exciting opportunities have arisen for plant fitters and heavy vehicle technicians to join the team at Luton airport.

As a plant fitter, you will ultimately be responsible for keeping the passengers and freight moving.

Your main duties will include:
•Performing fault diagnostics on a range of plant and equipment to include; tug tractors, forklift trucks, trailers, elevators, food and fuel trucks and other ground support equipment.
•Conducting fault diagnostics on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
•Implementing preventative planned maintenance schedules

The successful plant fitter will have previous experience on any of the following; ground support equipment, forklift trucks, construction plant, agricultural machinery, commercial vehicles or specialist military vehicles or plant. You will also hold a full UK driving licence.

All successful applicants will have to obtain an airside security pass which involves a criminal records check.

A basic salary of between £30,000pa-£32,000pa is available, dependent on experience + overtime + call out + benefits.
