Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding metal parts using MIG welding equipment.

Responsibilities:

*Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to determine welding requirements
*Prepare materials and equipment for welding, including setting up Jigs etc
*Set up and operate MIG welding equipment to fuse metal parts according to specifications
*Inspect and test completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
*Repair or modify metal structures as needed
*Maintain welding equipment and tools, including performing routine maintenance and cleaning
*Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

*At least 2 years of experience as a MIG Welder
*Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings
*Knowledge of welding equipment and techniques, including MIG welding
*Familiarity with welding safety procedures and guidelines
*Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
*Strong attention to detail and quality control
*Good communication and interpersonal skills

The shift pattern for this role will be a rotating 3 shift pattern. You will be asked to work 6-2, 2-12 or 10-6. The back shift is a four day working week. For these shifts you will be paid £16, £17 and £19 respectively.
