Operations Manager
Plant Hire and sales
West Sussex
55,000pa-60,000pa + vehicle + bonus + benefits

The company is a very well-known national supplier of construction plant equipment with multiple depots across the UK.
As a result of an internal promotion a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an operations manager to join the team at its West Sussex based depot.
As the operations manager you will be responsible for the operational and commercial performance of the depot in all areas of aftermarket activity.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Providing leadership and direction that supports the company strategy
Profit and loss
Ensuring adherence to processes, procedures and policies associated with financial, operational, customer service and people management
Managing key customers
Maximising operational efficiencies through effective performance management
Implement and monitor targets to impact profitability
Managing costs
Staff recruitment and training
Health and safety
The successful operations manager will have previous experience in a similar role and those with specific plant hire/sales experience will be at a distinct advantage.
