Quantity Surveyor- Freelance

Job Description

Our client is a forward-thinking refurbishment / Shop fitting main contractor, who specialise in the delivery of commercial and retail projects. Working with many blue chip clients, UK wide, they’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join them to deliver several projects across the UK.

Your responsibilities will include:
– Procurement of subcontractors and materials
– Liaising with client cost manager in order to agree pricing
– Working with the factory team in order to ensure timely project delivery
– When based on site overseeing payments
– Valuations & Variations
– Final accounts
– Chairing site meetings

Experience required:
– Quantity Surveying experience for main contractor / shop fitter
– To have worked on refurbishment project work (ideally retail clients, not essential though)
– Technical qualification in construction (HNC / BSc)
