Site Engineer – Wakefield – Up to 40,000 + Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to work for a well-established infrastructure sub-contractor based in the Yorkshire region.

The organisation directly employs over 150 members of staff and currently has a turnover in excess of 25 Million per annum. They mainly undertake sub-contract civil engineering packages to major contractors in the North East, Yorkshire and Humberside regions and there portfolio of works includes commercial & residential groundworks, roads & sewers, traffic management, surfacing, reinforced concrete basements, surveying, remediation and earthworks.

What we require is an experienced setting out engineer that has a wealth of knowledge with technical diagrams and pre construction as a key part of the role will be to receive technical drawings from their clients, check them for accuracy, modify them and produce DFX files to be distributed around the companies site engineers for greater accuracy and efficiency on site.

Applicants with experience of cut and fill, AutoCad and forms of 3D modelling within housing and commercial civil engineering setting would be preferable. This role will entail setting out, QA work, mentoring junior engineers, undertaking as built surveys.
