Site Manager Opportunity in Newcastle

Do you have a strong M&E background and a knack for meticulous oversight in construction projects?

Our esteemed M&E contractor is keen on welcoming an adept Site Manager to join them for an exciting 20-week venture set to commence in October 2023. This position, based in Newcastle, will see you play a pivotal role in a multimillion-pound development project.

Position: Site Manager

Location: Newcastle

Contract Duration: 20 weeks (Approximately 4-5 months)

Start Date: October 2023

Key Responsibilities:
• Direct daily site operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule.
• Rigorously manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to guarantee optimal usage.
• Uphold the highest safety and quality standards across all operations.
• Galvanize, lead, and motivate the on-site teams to achieve excellence.

Essential Requirements:
• A background in M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) is highly desired.
• SMSTS or SSSTS with strong experience
• Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager in sizable construction projects.
• Outstanding leadership qualities coupled with exemplary organisational prowess.
• Innate problem-solving skills that can tackle unexpected challenges head-on.
• An unwavering commitment to upholding safety and quality benchmarks.
• Stellar communication skills, ensuring clear instructions and fostering teamwork.
Remuneration:

• £25-28.00 per hour, on a CIS basis.
