£32,000pa-£34,000pa + overtime + benefits

The company is one of the world’s leading suppliers of specialist airport vehicles and plant and it holds the most prestigious accounts in the UK aviation sector.

Due to the further expansion of its UK operations an excellent opportunity has arisen for a specialist vehicle fitter to join the team at Manchester Airport.
As a specialist vehicle fitter, you will play a very important role in keeping passengers and freight moving.
Your main objective will be to keep a range of airport vehicles and plant in operational condition, to include; shuttle buses, HGV’s, tug tractors, mobile stairs, trailers and baggage handlers.

Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, your main responsibilities will include:
•Performing fault diagnostics on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic plant systems.
•Conducting repairs on a range of airport vehicles and plant.
•Preventative planned maintenance of equipment.
•Customer service.

The successful vehicle fitter will have a background in vehicle or plant maintenance and this includes; HGV’s, forklift trucks, construction plant, agricultural equipment, municipal vehicles, specialist military vehicles or plant and motor cars.

You will receive a basic salary of up to £34,000pa + extensive opportunities for overtime + benefits.
