CDM Join the FACT High 5 Club.

CDM are pleased to announce that we recently became members of the FACT High 5 Club. So, what is the FACT High 5 Club you ask? Well, in short, the club is made up of businesses who have pledged to raise a minimum of £5000 towards ‘The Big Build’ which once completed will become the new FACT Family Home. The UK’s first cancer support, awareness & education centre on the site of the former Dunston Hill School in Gateshead in the North East.

Mark Bulmer (Director of CDM) said: “We have chosen to support FACT as CDM’s charity of choice as their commitment to supporting people affected by cancer is truly inspirational. Their vision to build the UK’s first cancer support, awareness and education centre right here in the North East is something we are very excited to get behind. Every single one of CDM’s employees have volunteered to fund raise a minimum of £100 in support of The Big Build, which reflects a generosity of spirit within our business which I’m very proud of.”

As a member of the FACT High 5 Club, CDM were kindly invited to attend ‘The Big Build Ball’ on Saturday 28^th of September at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park. It was an evening of glitz, glam, entertainment and most importantly fundraising towards the build of this amazing FACT Family Home.

All CDM employees will be doing their own fundraising challenges to contribute towards the £5000 target. We will be following each of their fundraising journeys over the next 12 months and posting regular updates, so watch this space!
