School Students Join CDM for Work Experience

It’s been a pleasure to have two young adults from a local school on work experience with CDM Recruitment this week.

The aim was to ensure Aiden and Alex achieved a rounded understanding of how a business works, demonstrating how all parts play an integral role in ensuring an efficient, effective and profitable business.

Mark Bulmer (Director) was impressed by the contribution made by Alex and Aiden during their week with CDM:

“We wanted Alex and Aiden to experience a challenging and rewarding work experience placement with CDM Recruitment. Rather than making coffees and acting like the office dogsbody we wanted them to get stuck in, use their initiative and feel like they’ve made a contribution. We have a highly committed and hardworking team here and I wanted them to understand the importance of being passionate about what you do for a living.  So we set the guys specific tasks which required attention, hard graft and thinking for themselves.

Both Alex and Aiden worked exceptionally hard and impressed everyone at CDM with their work ethic, enthusiasm and performance.

As a result we hope Aiden and Alex feel confident in their own abilities and inspired by the world of work. They also made a real contribution so we were also happy to reward them with their first pay packet! “
