Job Description

We are working with our client who are a leading CNC and Manual machining company based in Durham who serve the offshore and renewables industries in the search for a Quality Inspector on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for performing QA/QC inspections from Goods Inwards and on finished goods to ensure quality standards are maintained and achieved.

Responsibilities
•Identify and report issues in accordance with company procedures
•Ensure parts manufacture and service work inspections are completed in correct priority sequence
•Dealing with non-conformances (raising and investigating issues)
•Ensuring all documents adhere to the company’s quality system standards
•Ensure all QA/QC requirements are covered as detailed on customer PO

Person Specification
•Experience working with ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System
•Engineering/Manufacturing background
•Experience with pumps or rotating equipment is desirable
•Experienced of using micrometres, verniers and other manual measuring tools (imperial and metric) and ability to read engineering drawings
•Methodical, organised and self-motivated
