£27,000pa-£32,000pa + overtime + benefits

The company is a long-established dealer of industrial vehicles and plant equipment and it has a very loyal customer base across the North West.
As result of continuing expansion, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a workshop mechanic to join the team.
As a workshop mechanic no two days will be the same and your work will be varied and interesting.

Working as part of a team your main responsibilities will include:
Performing fault diagnostics on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic vehicle systems.
Conducting repairs on a range of plant equipment and industrial vehicles.
Preventative planned maintenance.
Accurate completion of job associated paperwork.

Due to the level of training and development on offer, the successful workshop mechanic can come from a range of backgrounds to include; forklift trucks, construction plant equipment, powered access, military vehicles or plant, HGV’s or the general motor trade.
This makes this position ideal for anyone wanting a change and a new challenge.

The successful workshop mechanic will receive full manufacturers product training and ongoing professional and personal development support. For those who wish to, there will be scope to ultimately progress into a field-based role.

You will receive a basic salary of up to £32,000pa dependent on experience + plenty of opportunities for overtime + excellent additional benefits.
