Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client’s production facility. Your responsibilities will include preventive and reactive maintenance, process improvements, and supporting production activities. This position offers a diverse range of tasks, including fault finding, equipment improvement, and coordination with production supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
•Safely perform preventive and reactive maintenance using safe systems of work.
•Efficiently diagnose technical and process issues.
•Coordinate with production supervision for smooth plant and equipment operation.
•Resolve breakdown issues with minimal impact on production.
•Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvement.
•Complete all maintenance activities on time as planned.

Requirements:
•Recognized engineering apprenticeship or similar qualification.
•5 years’ engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Experience in PPM and fault finding on hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
•Maintenance/engineering experience in a production environment, preferably heavy engineering.
•Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional overtime.
•Fabrication/welding skills are desirable.

Hours:
•Monday-Friday 630am-230pm. 230pm-1030pm. Potential travel to various sites.
